Tasting several dishes at Lupe Tortilla was a great experience for me. I loved the Barbacoa taco (my personal favorite) and the tamales and Tostadas as well. The place was fairly packed, and my orders were served pretty quickly. I would still say that the breakfast tacos were undercooked, probably in order to accommodate a large number of orders.

Lupe Tortilla Reviews
Customers have different views regarding Lupe Tortilla Houston Reviews. Have a look at what they had to say:
Here’s what Tatum L. had to say about Lupe Tortilla:
“Wonderful atmosphere! Management was friendly! Waiter was beyond great! Sat on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance! Steak fajitas were best I have ever had. Tortillas were made fresh and the size of your plate! Their ribs are better than any BBQ place I have ever had!”
Here’s what Elle had to say about Lupe Tortilla:
“This location has gone downhill quickly! I’ve been a patron of this location since 2007, back when they still had a sandbox for the kids. On one visit recently, one of the managers stormed out shouting, “I QUIT!!!”
Waitstaff/front of the house staff has been a revolving door.
They REALLY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER!
The food has been hit or misses with the kitchen, obviously not the following spec, and then you have servers who refuse to help out…FULL HANDS IN FULL HANDS OUT…hosts need to stop double and triple seating guests, especially with unexperienced servers….when your customers know the menu better than their server, there’s a problem…also WRITE DOWN THE ORDER. Save yourself from having to do double time with a table and frustrated guests…write the order down…when you THINK you got it and you don’t, you run the risk of getting yourself and the kitchen in the weeds.
My family lives blocks away from this location…I’ll continue to eat at Lupe Tortillas, but I’ll be driving to Shepherd or even out to Pearland to avoid the S@%T show here.
Sorry but seriously…DO BETTER…some of your regulars are getting tired and moving on.”
Here’s what Magsboy had to say about Lupe Tortilla:
“The best period. We love hitting this joint when we go to Houston. If u want honest, fresh, tasty, Tex mex, this is the place. On top of that, they are consistently great! Best tortillas ever! God bless this establishment!”
