Banana Blast Game For Kids Aged 4+: Learn The Rules, Instructions And More To Go Bananas
“The game that makes you go bananas!”
This is how the makers introduce the Banana Blast game.
Ideal for kids above 4 years old, this game is really quick and fun.
Just do the setup, roll the dice, and collect as many bananas as you can.
Also, don’t forget to catch Banana Joe, the squishy-headed little monkey, as it jumps off the banana tree.
We are all up for the bonus points, right?
What Is The Banana Blast Game?

Banana Joe sits on the banana tree to guard the bananas.
The fun game is to steal the bananas from him and collect as many as you can for yourself.
Also, the trick here is that there is one banana, plucking which will make the monkey jump.
You cannot guess which banana it is, as each time, it is a different one.
Catch the monkey, and you will get 2 bananas as bonus points.
So, though primarily a kid’s game, it is also a collector’s favorite, purely for the unpredictability factor!
Furthermore, you don’t need batteries to set up the game. Little kids can start the game on their own.
A game without batteries is also safer in terms of choking hazards.
Moreover, this fun game helps develop quick reflexes and hand-eye coordination among children.
Also, as you don’t know which banana will make the monkey jump, they stay invested in the game.
Goliath Games first started the game in 2019, and it is a perfect game for 2 to 5 players.
The fewer the number of players, the longer the duration of a round will be.
Each round usually takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

How To Set Up The Banana Blast Game?

Place the banana tree, also called the monkey mountain, on a sturdy table.
Now insert the bananas into the holes around the edges of the banana tree.
Once the bananas are inserted, place Banana Joe in the middle.
You have to press Banana Joe down so that he is perfectly locked.
Now, ask the participants to jump.
The one who jumps the highest starts the game. Then, the game moves clockwise.
How To Play The Banana Blast Game?

The entire Banana Blast Game continues by rolling the dice.
The cute yellow dice has many symbols, indicating the activities the player can do.
Also, when you are playing the game, you have to place your hands on the platform/table the banana tree is placed on.
You have to maintain this stance throughout the game.
You will only lift your hands from the table when you have to roll the dice, pluck the bananas, or catch Banana Joe.
So, let the game begin.
One Banana Picture On The Dice
You roll the dice, and you get the one banana symbol.
It means that you can pluck one banana from the banana tree.
Remember that you will have to pluck the banana you touched first after rolling the dice.
Once you have picked the banana, you will have to keep it in front of you, and you will get the point for the banana at the end of the game.
Two Bananas On The Dice
When you roll the dice and get two bananas, you will have to collect two bananas from the tree.
You will have to collect the bananas one by one.
Banana With A Gift Bow
You roll the dice, and you get a banana with a cute ribbon symbol on it.
It means that you have to give one banana to a player you choose.
If you have not earned a banana yet, you will have to skip your next turn of rolling the dice.
The Monkey Hand Holding A Banana
If you get the symbol of a banana held in the monkey’s palm with a crown-like sign, you have to steal a banana.
Here again, you will choose the player from whom you will steal the banana.
If the player does not have a banana earned in the previous turns or you are unable to steal the banana, you will miss your next turn.
Catching The Monkey
The game will continue like this, and eventually the monkey will jump when a player pulls a specific banana.
Here is the fun part. Nobody knows what that banana will be.
You have to catch Banana Joe, and if you do it successfully, you will earn two additional bonus points.
Rules Regarding Catching The Monkey
If a particular player catches the monkey cleanly, then there is no confusion in counting the numbers.
There will be a lot of racing and jumping at this point in time. So, you have to ensure no kid is hurt.
Also, if multiple players catch the monkey at the same time, the one whose hands are beneath the monkey will get it.
Moreover, if nobody catches it and the monkey falls on the ground or the table, there will be no bonus point.
Counting The Scores
Once the monkey has jumped off the tree and the catching part is done, the scores will be counted.
At this point, the player with the highest number of bananas will win the game.
Choking Hazards
This is a game for kids.
So, even if helicopter monitoring is not needed, parental guidance is important.
Having said that, the game does not need the use of batteries.
So, choking hazards regarding small batteries or the hazards of storing them can be avoided.
Furthermore, the bananas to be plucked are well-designed, and they are not too small to create choking problems.
